This Privacy Policy covers how Trust Right Rx LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you access our Website and Patient Assistance Program (PAP) services. We help patients access affordable prescription medications by connecting them with manufacturer assistance programs.

This policy does not cover the privacy practices of third parties we do not own or control, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, insurance carriers, or our payment processor. When you interact with a third-party service, please review their privacy policies separately.

What Information We Collect

1. Information You Provide to Us

You provide information when you register, request PAP services, or contact us. This may include:

  • Personal Information: Name, address, email, phone number, date of birth, household income, and insurance status.
  • Health Information: Medical history, current prescriptions, physician details, and diagnosis information needed for manufacturer program applications.

2. Information We Automatically Collect

When you use our Website, we automatically collect usage information through cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies:

  • Device & Log Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date/time of access, and referring URLs.
  • Cookies: Small files that personalize your experience, track sessions, and monitor Website usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.
  • Location Information: Approximate location estimated from your IP address to provide relevant service information.

When Non-Personal Information (such as browsing behavior) is combined with Personal Information, we treat the combined data as Personal Information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate our PAP services and communicate with you:

  • Process your Patient Assistance Program applications and submit them to pharmaceutical manufacturers on your behalf
  • Process service fee payments through authorize.net (we do not store your payment card data — see Section D.4)
  • Communicate with you about application status, medication availability, program renewals, and customer support
  • Improve our services and provide personalized program recommendations
  • Send marketing communications (you can opt out at any time — see Section G)
  • Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with applicable laws and legal processes

When We Share Your Information

Trust Right Rx LLC does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your information only as follows:

1. With Your Consent

With your express permission, we may share your information with pharmaceutical manufacturers, insurance carriers, or healthcare providers to process your PAP applications or meet your healthcare needs.

2. Service Providers & Business Associates

We may share information with service providers who perform activities on our behalf (such as billing or data processing). These partners are contractually required to protect your information and use it only to perform services for us.

3. Legal Reasons & Business Transfers

We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, protect public safety, or enforce our Terms of Service. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy, we may transfer your information to a third party. You will have the opportunity to opt out if the new entity’s privacy practices differ materially from this Policy.

4. Authorize.net Payment Processing

All payments are processed through authorize.net. We do not collect, store, or process your credit card, debit card, or bank account numbers on our servers. Your payment data is entered directly into Authorize.net’s PCI DSS-compliant payment form. We receive only a transaction confirmation, last four digits of your card, and billing address. Section E

Your Health Information Rights

Under HIPAA and applicable state laws, you have the following rights regarding your protected health information (PHI):

AccessRequest a copy of your health records. We will respond within 30 days.
CorrectionRequest corrections to inaccurate records. If we decline, we will explain in writing within 60 days.
Confidential CommunicationRequest that we contact you in a specific way or at a specific address.
Restrict UseAsk us to limit how we use or share your health information (we may decline if it affects your care).
Disclosure AccountingRequest a list of disclosures we have made over the prior six years.
Revoke AuthorizationWithdraw your written authorization for us to use your PHI at any time by writing to us. Prior disclosures cannot be reversed.
Appoint a RepresentativeA legal guardian or person with medical power of attorney may exercise these rights on your behalf.

Section F

How We Use and Disclose Your PHI

We may use or disclose your protected health information for the following purposes:

  • PAP Services: To submit your information to pharmaceutical manufacturers and coordinate with your healthcare providers.
  • Payment: To process service fees and contact alternate contacts regarding payment (Authorize.net receives billing data only, not medical information).
  • Business Associates: Third parties performing services for us under contract who are bound to protect your PHI.
  • Your Care Team: Family members or friends involved in your care, or those helping pay for your care.
  • Legal Requirements: As required by federal, state, or local law, including for public health reporting, health oversight, judicial proceedings, law enforcement requests, military/veterans affairs, workers’ compensation, and national security purposes.

All other uses require your written authorization, which you may revoke at any time.

Section G

Opting Out of Communications

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time:

PhoneRequest placement on our Do Not Call list by contacting us.
TextReply STOP to any text message from us.
EmailClick “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any marketing email.
MailSend a written request to our mailing address below.

Non-promotional messages about your PAP applications, medication status, and account will continue.

Section H

How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption for electronic transactions and PCI DSS-compliant payment processing through Authorize.net. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.

Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable federal and state laws via email, mail, or Website notice.

Section I

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

Right to Opt OutOpt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information without your express consent.

Additional Provisions

  • Cookie Opt-Out: You may opt out of interest-based advertising at aboutads.info/choices (DAA) or networkadvertising.org/choices (NAI).
  • Children’s Privacy: Our services are not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
  • Data Retention: We retain your information as long as necessary for our services and legal obligations, then securely dispose of or de-identify it.
  • Policy Updates: We may update this Policy at any time by posting a revised version. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
  • Third-Party Links: Our Website may link to third-party sites including pharmaceutical manufacturers and Authorize.net. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
